There will be changes on tram routes No. 6 and 7 starting from 16:30 of December 13

"Rīgas satiksme" informs that there will be changes on tram routes No. 6 and 7 due to the awarding ceremony of the European Film Academy. Starting from 16.30 and till the closure of the tram traffic, trams on the above routes will not run in the section between the city centre and Ausekļa Street.

Tram No. 7 will run by the route from trade centre „Dole” to the Central market, then on the 11th November Embankment, in the 13th January Street, Prāgas Street and further by the route to terminal „Dole”. Tram stop „Prāgas Street” will not be served – passengers will get off/on at tram stop „13th January Street”. A part of the route between the Central market and Ausekļa Street will be closed.

Tram No. 6 will run by the route from Jugla to the „Railway Terminal Square” terminal of tram No. 11 and back by the route to its terminal in Jugla. Tram stop „Aspazijas Boulevard” will not be served – passengers will get off/on at tram stop „Railway Terminal Square”. A part of the route between the National opera and Ausekļa Street will be closed.

There will be no changes on tram route No. 5.

During the above period of time, trams No. 6 and 7 will run from their respective terminals, „Jugla” and „Trade centre „Dole””, according to temporary schedules.

Changes of tram routes No. 6 and 7 after 16:30 of December 13.

During the above period, those passengers having bought tickets, registered their trips or using travel cards on the shortened tram routes, will be allowed to use trams No. 5 in the section from/to Ausekļa Street to reach the necessary destination, without registering the trip.
